Bamike Olawunmi Adenibuyan Emotional as She Speaks on Rising Insecurity Across the Nation
Actress Bamike Olawunmi Adenibuyan has voiced serious concerns over the growing insecurity, health crises, and recurring tragic incidents impacting many individuals and families across Nigeria.
In a reflective video and public statement, she expressed concern about what she described as growing emotional exhaustion in society, citing recurring cases of kidnappings, loss of lives, serious illnesses, and widespread fear as factors contributing to national distress.
She questioned how effective current systems are in addressing these challenges, particularly in areas of public safety and healthcare delivery, and called for stronger institutional response and accountability.
In the video she shared, she was seen in tears over the repeated tragedies affecting Nigerians.
Her words read…
“What’s the SOLUTION?!!! What’s the solution, people?
We’ve cried. We’ve made flyers. We’ve wailed. We’ve prayed. Yet the pain keeps coming. 💔
Kidnappings. Loss. Cancer. Grief. Fear.
It feels like we’re all just trying to survive one tragedy after another.
And honestly… where is the government in all of this?
How many more people need to go missing?
How many more families need to mourn before safety, healthcare, and human lives are treated like a priority?
Today it’s someone else’s loved one… tomorrow it could be ours.
Please check on your people. Call them. Love them loudly. Be kinder. Be softer with people. You truly never know what someone is carrying.
And cancer… cancer is a bastard.
It has taken two people I deeply care about, and I’m honestly tired of pretending we have time. We don’t always.
Please do regular health checkups.
Please listen to your body.
Please take your health seriously.
Please don’t wait till it’s too late.
We deserve better.
Better security. Better healthcare. Better leadership. Better humanity. ❤️🕊️”
